Sail longer than usual on Legendary Voyages
From the Mediterranean to the South Pacific, or the Amazon River to the Arctic Circle, HAL allows you to choose from 25- to 59-day voyages that enrich your travel spirit beyond what you thought was possible. Imagine more than 100 spectacular UNESCO sites – including Polynesian temples and New Zealand hot springs – plus unique ports of call, with most sailings beginning and ending at a North American home port.
The 28-day Glaciers & Volcanos: Alaska to Hawaii voyage takes you from Vancouver, up to Alaska, over to Hawaii and back to Seattle. The 51-day Tales of the South Pacific tour is roundtrip from San Diego, heading from California to Hawaii to Fiji to French Polynesia. Passengers explore the Brazilian rainforest on the 30-day Amazon Explorer, which sails from New York to Fort Lauderdale.

Grand Voyages fit everything in and more
Who else on the ocean today is offering two world voyages at the same time, both more than 120 days? HAL makes decision-making even more challenging – in a very good way – with their Grand World Voyage and what is believed to be the first-ever Grand Voyage: Pole-to-Pole.
The Pole-to-Pole cruise explores the face of the entire globe from south to north, roundtrip from the United States. You visit five continents in 133 days aboard the sumptuous Volendam. The itinerary is beyond breath-taking, beginning in Fort Lauderdale and heading into the Caribbean and through the Panama Canal. It then sails down the west coast of South America to Antarctica, north along the coasts of Argentina and Brazil, and into the Amazon River. Africa follows an Atlantic crossing, as does Europe, the Norwegian fjords and the North Cape. The journey then dips into the North Atlantic, over to Iceland and Greenland, and finally down the eastern American coastline. Whew!
HAL’s Grand World Voyage takes in six continents aboard the extremely comfortable Zuiderdam in 124 days, on an east-to-west route from the U.S. If you enjoy lingering longer in port or fitting in multiple overnight stays, this might be the perfect option.
Similar to the Pole-to-Pole trip, this sailing begins in Fort Lauderdale and traverses the Panama Canal. But after heading down the South America’s west coast, it veers to the South Pacific, taking in some fascinating island heritage before reaching Australia. Indonesia and Sri Lanka are next, followed by the South African cape and the east coast of Africa. Through the Suez Canal and the Mediterranean you will go, to Europe, stopping at iconic international cities before crossing the Atlantic to Florida once more.
