Fifty years in the travel industry is no small feat, and yet Monika has accomplished this with effortless aplomb. Her career began in Stuttgart, Germany, where she worked at a travel agency – and the die was cast. Stints as a flight attendant, airport passenger service agent and ticket sales agent with Lufthansa followed. Returning to Canada saw her join the ranks at Uniglobe, Thomas Cook and American Express, before settling in with Tully in 2007.
Monika is empathetic, well-travelled, knowledgeable, tenacious and doesn’t take no for an answer. These attributes have served her well throughout her career, augmented by hands-on travel to hundreds of destinations: The UK, Scandinavia and Western Europe, Japan: Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto, Nikko and China: Hong Kong, Beijing, Xian, Guilin, New Zealand and Australia, the African continent: Morocco, South Africa, Kenya and Tanzania, India: Delhi, Mumbai, Agra, Jaipur, Jodhpur, Thailand, Singapore, Bali and Malaysia, the South Pacific: Tahiti, Fiji and Hawaii as well as the Caribbean and Mexico. Ocean cruise lines that have seen her on the gangway include Crystal, Seabourn, Celebrity, Holland America, Norwegian, Royal Caribbean and a Uniworld river cruise.

"Travel was always in my blood enhanced by my love of flight and gaining my dream job as a stewardess for Lufthansa German Airlines based in Frankfurt, Germany way back in the late 1970s when vacation and business travel was in its infancy and travel was polite and dressed in Sunday best. This was the springboard to my 50-year career in travel leading to having happily landed at Tully Luxury Travel, my “family” of the last almost 20 years enabling me to put to use all I have learned, observed, discovered and experienced enabling me to enhance and enrich our clients’ travel experiences with the clout of Tully Luxury Travel and the recognition and support of our valued travel suppliers behind us/me."
