Megayachts, private jets and even submarines are part of the next chapter of luxury travel. What does your dream vacation look like? A romantic river cruise on the Danube? Visiting remote islands on a yacht? Hopping on a private plane ? to anywhere? With Crystal Cruises’ latest launches, you’ll soon be able to do all that, and more.
THE NEXT CHAPTER
In August 2018, Crystal will debut the world’s largest megayacht, Crystal Endeavor, a 183-metre-long vessel that is the world’s first purpose-built Polar Code compliant. It will be able to cruise in Arctic and Antarctic waters as well as tropical conditions, visiting remote, hard-to-reach islands. Adventure will be fed by its many toys, including helicopters, seven-person submarines, SEABOBs and other personal water craft such as zodiacs, jet skis and WaveRunners, plus snorkeling and scuba equipment. Using a Remote Operated Vehicle (ROV), expeditions will be organized to see sunken galleons, warships and passenger ships such as the Titanic.
Of course, comfort isn’t sacrificed in the name of excitement. Spacious suites start at 400 square feet with balcony, and the megayacht will also boast a full-service spa, yoga, pilates, wellness centre, an infinity pool that converts into a dance floor or an alfresco dining area, six dining options, a 200-seat theatre, cinema, card room and computer centre. Butler service will be available for all 200 guests and the ship will boast a one-to-one crew-to-guest ratio.
Expanding its expedition lineup further, in 2018, Crystal will introduce new, robust Crystal Exclusive Class polar ice class cruise ships with all the features and amenities of a luxury ship or private yacht. And with Crystal Luxury Air launching next year, Crystal aims to reach new heights, offering extravagant around-the-world trips aboard its Boeing 787 Dreamliner.
“We are so proud to be continually named as Crystal’s number one worldwide producer for the last fifteen years – and counting. There is a reason for that: my team and I are absolute Crystal devotees. We know everything about their ships, their itineraries, and their service because we have experienced it for ourselves,” says Tully. “Crystal offers my clients – time and time again – an unparalleled luxury experience.”
