With their continued focus on upscale adventure, Atlas Ocean Voyages always has something new up their sleeves. The modern explorer can consistently count on walking on unfamiliar terrain, making fast friends with strangers and sharing new cultural experiences all over the world. More of the same is well on the way.
Pre- and Post- Antarctic Tours
Looking to stay in South America a little longer? We can make that happen for you. Before or after exploring the glacial landscapes of Antarctica, Atlas has two particular optional tours that engage all five senses.
• The two-night Highlights of Buenos Aires itinerary showcases the city’s vibrant cultural gems, with stops at historical sites like Casa Rosada and Plaza de Mayo – the city’s oldest public square – as well as Recoleta Cemetery, with its labyrinthine passages through 6,500 graves. Count on taking in a tango show and savoring authentic Argentinian cuisine.
• The three-night Exploring Iguazú Falls tour whisks you through Buenos Aires for a bit, then spends two separate days at the falls, one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Take in the 275 waterfalls and islands the first day, with a Zodiac boat tour getting you close enough to feel the rush. A second day focuses on the Devil’s Throat with its 14 horseshoe shaped falls.
Heading to New Horizons
Throughout an Atlas Ocean Voyages polar expedition, many days of exploration entail Captain's Choice, in which the yacht's Captain and expedition team work together on Zodiac safaris and shore landings to communicate wildlife sightings and bring explorers as close as safely possible to extraordinary views.
Thanks to small-sized yachts, the crew is able to navigate remote landings more easily, getting into all the little nooks and crannies of an intriguing list of destinations, providing an engaging and intimate travel experience.
Imagine visiting places that few people have seen! These limited-edition itineraries also come with all the personalized experiences, enhanced services and captain’s insights that you’ve come to expect from Atlas.
Drake Fly & Sail Expeditions
For Antarctic explorers who are a bit short on time, Atlas now lets you fly over the Drake Passage one way and sail it the other – two very different yet memory-making polar experiences. Two new, seven-night sailings aboard World Voyager see passengers enjoying the convenience of a one-way private jet charter service to and from Punta Arenas, Chile, combined with the thrill – and bragging rights – of Drake Passage excitement. Truly, this is the best of both worlds.
Tully Can Take You There
Across the board, Atlas continues to thrill passengers with an abundance of sailing extravagance. Polar expeditions and epicurean expeditions deliver both iconic and off-the-beaten-path adventure within the soothing confines of our glorious and award-winning fleet. See you on board!
